Contraindications
There are a number of contraindications for donation.
(withdrawal from donation, regardless of the duration of the disease and the results of treatment)

1. Bloodborne diseases:
- Infectious:
- AIDS, HIV infection and persons at risk (homosexuals, drug addicts, prostitutes)
- Syphilis, congenital or acquired
- Viral hepatitis, positive test result for markers of viral hepatitis (HBsAg, anti-HCV antibodies)
- Tuberculosis, all forms
- Brucellosis
- Typhus
- Tularemia
- Lepra
- Parasitic:
- Echinococcosis
- Toxoplasmosis
- Trypanosomiasis
- Filariasis
- Rishta
- Leishmaniasis.
- Infectious:

2. Somatic diseases:
- Malignant neoplasms.
- Diseases of the blood.
- Organic diseases of the central nervous system.
- Complete lack of hearing and speech.
- Mental illness.
- Drug addiction, alcoholism.
- Cardiovascular diseases:
- hypertension II - III degree.
- ischemic heart disease
- atherosclerosis, atherosclerotic cardiosclerosis
- obliterating endoarteritis, nonspecific aortoarteritis, recurrent thrombophlebitis
- endocarditis, myocarditis
- heart disease.
- Respiratory diseases:
- bronchial asthma
- bronchiectasis, pulmonary emphysema, obstructive bronchitis, diffuse pneumosclerosis in the stage of decompensation.
- Diseases of the digestive system:
- achilic gastritis
- gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.
- Diseases of the liver and biliary tract:
- chronic liver diseases, including toxic nature and unclear etiology
- calculous cholecystitis with recurring attacks and symptoms of cholangitis
- liver cirrhosis.
- Diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract in the stage of decompensation:
- diffuse and focal kidney lesions
- urolithiasis.
- Diffuse connective tissue diseases.
- Radiation sickness.
- Diseases of the endocrine system in case of severe dysfunction and metabolism.
- Diseases of ENT organs:
- ozena
- other acute and chronic severe purulent - inflammatory diseases.
- Eye diseases:
- residual effects of uveitis (iritis, iridocyclitis, chorioretinitis)
- high myopia (6 D or more)
- trachoma
- complete blindness.
- Skin diseases:
- common inflammatory and infectious skin diseases
- generalized psoriasis, erythroderma, eczema, pyoderma, sycosis, lupus erythematosus, blistering dermatoses
- fungal infections of the skin (microsporia, trichophytosis, favus, epidermophytosis) and internal organs (deep mycoses)
- pustular skin diseases (pyoderma, furunculosis, sycosis).
- Acute and chronic osteomyelitis.
- Surgical interventions for organ resection (stomach, kidney, gallbladder, spleen, ovaries, uterus, etc.) and organ and tissue transplantation.

1. Factors of infection with bloodborne diseases:
- Transfusions of blood and its components (with the exception of burn convalescents and persons immunized to the Rh factor) - REMOVAL 6 months from the day of transfusion.
- Surgical interventions, incl. abortion (it is necessary to present a medical certificate {extract from the medical history} about the nature and date of the operation) - WITHDRAWAL 6 months from the date of the operation
- Tattooing or Acupuncture Treatment - DETACHMENT 1 year from the end
- Stays on business trips abroad lasting more than 2 months - DISCUSSION 6 months from the date of return
- Stay in malaria-endemic countries of tropical and subtropical climates (Asia, Africa, South and Central America) for more than 3 months - DIVISION 3 years from the date of return
- Contact with patients with hepatitis:
- hepatitis A - DRAFT 3 months from the date of contact
- hepatitis B and C - DRAFT 1 year from the date of contact
2. Past diseases:
- Infectious diseases not listed in the section "Absolute contraindications":
- a history of malaria in the absence of symptoms and negative results of immunological tests - 3 years
- typhoid fever after recovery and complete clinical examination in the absence of pronounced functional disorders - 1 year
- sore throat, flu, ARVI - 1 month after recovery
- Other infectious diseases not listed in the section "Absolute contraindications" and clause 2.1 of this section, after recovery - 6 months
- Tooth extraction - 10 days
- Acute or chronic inflammatory processes in the stage of exacerbation, regardless of localization, after stopping the acute period - 1 month
- Vegeto - vascular dystonia - 1 month
- Allergic diseases in the acute stage, after relief of the acute period - 2 months
- Infectious diseases not listed in the section "Absolute contraindications":
3.The period of pregnancy and lactation - 1 year after childbirth, 3 months after the end of lactation

4. Menstruation period, from the end of menstruation - 5 days

5. Vaccinations:
- vaccination with killed vaccines (hepatitis B, tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, paratyphoid fever, cholera, flu), toxoid - 10 days
- vaccination with live vaccines (brucellosis, plague, tularemia, BCG vaccine, smallpox, rubella, oral poliomyelitis), administration of tetanus toxoid (in the absence of severe inflammation at the injection site) - 1 month
- administration of immunoglobulin against hepatitis B - 1 year
- rabies vaccine - 2 weeks
6.Taking medications:
- antibiotics, after the end of admission - 2 weeks
- analgesics, salicylates, after the end of admission - 3 days

7. Drinking alcohol - 48 hours

8.Changes in blood biochemical parameters:
- an increase in the activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) less than 2 times - 3 months
- repeated increase or increase in ALT 2 or more times - removal from donation and referral for examination
- dysproteinemia - 1 month

There are the following categories of donors:
1. blood donors;
2. plasma donors;
3. donors of blood cells (platelets);
4. donors with a specific antigenic structure of erythrocytes and leukocytes, blood that is used for diagnostic purposes.
